Fiba Group

Founded in 1987 by Hüsnü M. Özyeğin, the Fiba Group is today a highly respected and well-recognized participant in both national and international markets.

The Fiba Group holds an investment portfolio comprising high-value subsidiaries operating across financial and non-financial sectors.

The Group’s investments in the financial sector include banking, leasing, factoring, insurance, and the collection and management of non-performing loans (NPLs). Its non-financial investments primarily focus on retail, real estate investments, renewable energy, and hotel investments.

Fibabanka, which joined the Fiba Group on December 27, 2010, provides services with its approach of “We understand quickly, we solve quickly” and its customer-centric banking model that reaches customers wherever they are. Fibabanka operates in Corporate, Commercial, SME, Retail, Agricultural, and Private Banking segments across Türkiye, primarily in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Antalya.

By adding value to its customers’ lives, Fibabanka focuses on enhancing the customer experience through continuous investments in digital technologies. The Bank delivers fast and convenient banking solutions through Fibabanka Mobile and Internet Banking, 444 88 88 Telephone Banking, fibabanka.com.tr, and its branch network. Through an expanding range of cross-sector partnerships, Fibabanka also offers financial solutions across numerous touchpoints.

Fibabanka’s subsidiaries are Fiba Portfolio Management Inc. and Finberg Research, Development and Advisory Investment Services Inc.

With the Shareholders’ Agreement dated October 23, 2015, the first step was taken for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to become shareholders of Fibabanka, and following the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting held on December 21, 2015, they became shareholders of the Bank. Each institution currently holds an 8.96% ownership stake in Fibabanka.

With the Shareholders’ Agreement dated June 3, 2016, the first step was taken for TurkFinance B.V. to become a shareholder of Fibabanka with a 9.95% ownership stake, and following the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting held on August 31, 2016, TurkFinance B.V. became a shareholder of Fibabanka.
