Hakan B. Avcı began his professional career in 1993 at Koçbank. Between 1998 and 1999, he worked in the United States as an EMEA Analyst at Valuevest Management. From 2000 to 2003, he served as a Strategist in the Research Department at Global Securities, followed by his role between 2003 and 2005 at Raymond James Turkey, where he worked as a Banking Analyst and Co-Head of the Research Department. Between 2005 and 2008, Mr. Avcı continued his career at Raymond James Turkey as Director of Portfolio Management. After holding senior management positions at various investment institutions from 2008 to 2013, he joined Fibabanka A.Ş. in 2013. Hakan B. Avcı completed his undergraduate education in Economics at Yale University (USA) in 1993 and earned his MBA degree from Stanford University (USA) in 1998.

Ruşen F. Sözmen began his professional career in 1997 at Global Securities, where he actively served in both individual and institutional portfolio management departments. From 2005 to 2008, he was responsible for the management of Type A investment funds. Between 2008 and 2011, he continued his career at Mira Securities, serving as Head of Portfolio Management and Branch Manager at the Head Office. From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Sözmen worked at Osmanlı Securities, where he managed individual and institutional portfolios. He joined Fiba Portfolio Management in 2013. Ruşen F. Sözmen graduated from the Department of Economics at Istanbul University in 1994 and completed the Executive MBA program at Manchester Business School in 2004.

Ateş Kaymak began his professional career at Dış Portföy Yönetimi. Following the sale of Dış Portföy, he served between 2005 and 2010 as Assistant Manager in the Marketing and Debt Securities (SGMK) Fund Management departments at Fortis Portfolio Management. From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a Debt Securities (SGMK) Fund Manager at Fortis Portfolio Management and TEB Portfolio Management. Subsequently, between 2012 and 2013, he served as Director / Portfolio Manager at Ziraat Portfolio Management, and from 2013 until July 2015, he held the position of Manager in the Portfolio Management Department at the same institution. Ateş Kaymak joined Fiba Portfolio Management in July 2015. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Kocaeli University and a Master’s degree in Capital Markets and Stock Exchange from Marmara University. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Banking and Insurance, Marmara University.

Diler Butuş began her professional career in 1991 in the Treasury Department of Sınai Yatırım ve Kredi Bankası. Between 1995 and 1998, she served as Assistant Manager in the Treasury Department at Kentbank, followed by her role as Treasury Manager at Kentyatırım A.Ş. from 1998 to 2002. Subsequently, she worked as Treasury Manager at Riva Securities A.Ş. (2002–2004) and Alan Yatırım A.Ş. (2004–2006), where she was responsible for managing the portfolios of the company, as well as those of individual and institutional clients and investment funds. Between 2007 and 2016, Ms. Butuş served at Ziraat Portfolio Management Company as a Portfolio Manager responsible for private portfolio management, investment funds, and pension funds. She joined Fiba Portfolio Management in 2016. Diler Butuş holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Uludağ University and subsequently completed the Maine & Marmara University Istanbul Contemporary Management Techniques (English) Program.

Fatih Tomakin began his professional career in 2006 at Deniz Investment as an Investment Specialist. Between 2007 and 2011, he worked as a Specialist in the Fund Management Department at Ziraat Portfolio Management. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, he served as an Investment Specialist at Osmanlı Securities. In 2014, he worked at Verim Securities as an Investment Advisor, where he also prepared the institution’s periodic bulletins and market commentaries. Between 2014 and 2024, Mr. Tomakin worked in the Research Department at Şeker Investment, initially as a Technical Analyst, and later continued his role as Head of the Investment Advisory Unit. He joined Fiba Portfolio Management in February 2024. Fatih Tomakin completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Marmara University in 2001, and earned his Master’s degree (with thesis) in Financial Markets and Investment Management from Marmara University in 2007.

Kamuran Kara began his career in the financial sector in August 2009 at Fortis Portfolio Management, where he worked as a Quantitative Analyst in the Equity Research Department. Following his tenure at Fortis Portfolio Management, he joined Osmanlı Securities in February 2012 as Financial Reporting Manager. From May 2013 onward, he served in the Sales and Marketing Department at Ak Portfolio Management. In February 2020, Kamuran Kara joined Fiba Portfolio Management as a Fund Manager. He holds degrees from Marmara University in Foreign Trade and Business Administration and has completed the Executive MBA program at Özyeğin University.

Mustafa Emre Atalay began his career in 2010 at HSBC Bank and subsequently held a sales management role at Fibabanka between 2012 and 2015. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as Assistant Director at Şekerbank Treasury Sales Department. Between 2016 and 2022, he served as a Manager in the Treasury Marketing Department at Akbank, where he was responsible for the marketing of treasury products to corporate and commercial clients. In May 2022, Mr. Atalay rejoined Fibabanka as Unit Manager of Deposit and Investment Funds Product Management, undertaking responsibilities including product strategy development and profitability management. Mustafa Emre Atalay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (English) from Istanbul University and has completed a Master’s degree in Capital Markets and Stock Exchange at the Institute of Banking and Insurance, Marmara University.

Cansel Ergün Özer began her professional career in 2019 at Halk Investment as an Assistant Specialist. Between 2020 and 2024, she worked as an Authorized Officer in the Derivatives and FX Markets Department at Halk Investment. She joined Fiba Portfolio Management in November 2024. Cansel Ergün Özer completed her undergraduate studies in Capital Markets at Marmara University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree with thesis at the Institute of Banking and Insurance, Marmara University.
